Our all-volunteer coaching staff is an exceptional element of the success of E-Soccer. All our coaches receive training and instruction in working with special needs as well as soccer fundamentals. The defining strength of a good coach is found in his/her attitude and character above just athletic ability. The attributes of a good coach are as follows: energy and resiliency, flexibility and adaptability, compassion and empathy, and most importantly, the heart to constantly keep learning with the kids.
Our middle school, high school, and campus coaches are true “heroes” for the kids. The service and leadership experiences these young coaches gain can translate fluidly into leadership skills for future career and community impact in other arenas. As an added bonus, many of our teen coaches are gaining valuable community service hours at E-Soccer that help them toward their high school honors programs and graduation.
